beginning of a new chapter

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

a new YEAR, a new BEGINNING, a new CHAPTER, a new FUTURE.

i must say that the outing last night was awesome! but it would've been much better if the whole bunchos were there. =(

Sujen, Shal, Shobz and I went to the Curve. reached the venue at around 5.30pmish. good thing we came early cuz we managed to find parking near the exit. we went to Ikea to get Sujen a hotdog(which was pretty damn good!) and walked to book seating at Bubba Gump. the only available slot was at 10pm. so we decided to go and watch a movie. so we headed to Cinneleisure and the only movie that had alright seats was The Spirit. after booking the movie, we went to Courts. Sujen wanted to go to Bentley to get the prickley thingy for Angeline =) so we walked and walked and finally reached the place. it was HUGE! there were SO many cool looking guitars around! haha. after which, Shobini Balraj was hungry( as usual =P ) so we went to Mc'deez, where sujen and shobz bought ice cream and shal got curly fries. time check: 7.00pm. we chilled out till 7.30pm and walked back to the movies. shobz got the nuggets that she finally wanted and we went up to the movie. Apparently, The Spirit was based out of a 1940's comic strip in the local papers back in the days. the movie was pretty confusing and i guess it took awhile before u understood whats going on. but i must say, the concept used while making the movie was different. some lines were plain lame and some were pretty funny (well, more like we made it funny!) anyways, after that we went to makan makan at Bubba Gump. got a seat outside. shobz and i had the Mama;s Southern Fried Chicken, with some weird appetizer with prawns, tomatoes, icky nachos and lemon flavouring and "that choc thing" for dessert. RM79.90! we got TOTALLY RIPPED OFF cuz everything was predone and it was hard and blehhhhh =( dv came by, and i think the two of us went a lil looney =P haha! i gave her a few sips of my Mango Sparkler and she went giggly! hahahaha! it was fun though!! *loveyouladvbaby* snap snap snap gambar with shobz's Shutter. he was quite the charmer i must say! got on everybody's hands! haha! after we bid our goodbye's to dv, we walked to the park where the party was. trying to find our way in the crowd. to my surprise, i saw Joey G on stage!!!! *screams* i pulled everyone and squeezed my way through the crowd to get closer to him. haha. we ended up near the DJ guys and beside the Clowns. haha. 30mins away to countdown. there were LOADS of people in the crowd. THOUSANDS around. but it wasnt the stuffy. it was nice. it was just nice. then the countdown begun, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6,5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Fireworks came on!! and my gosh it was SO BEAUTIFUL. we right under it! it was AWESOME! our necks hurt cuz we had to look up, but it was worth it! SO MUCH FUN!

Dearest, Chui Ki, Annie and Ling, sorry that we didnt get to meet. the phone lines were really bad. so near, yet so far. next time then! =P

My darlings...Sujen, Shal, Shobz, Dv and Ming Jie, thanks so much for being there! it was so much fun!

Life is an Occasion, Rise to it.

one door closes..

the end of 2008 is drawing near, a day left to be

exact. i know i say this every year, but time flies really fast. for some reason, it went by extremely fast this year. there's so many things that i've learned from this year. MANY to state, but as far as i know, i've grown. grown to be more mature in handling things and mature in my own little way.










i've experienced things that i hadnt before, learnt from them as well. most of all, i've met a whole bunch of FANTASTIC people this year. a whole new bunch of GOOD friends. here is a recap of the whole 2008 and what i have achieved and what had happened.

1. enrolled in AUSTRALIAN MATRICULATION PROGRAMME.
2. met with good people who i can call, my good friends.(love you all!)
3. got involved in the Student Council.
4. Head of the Talent Night Committee (turned out to be awesome!-thank you team!)
5. went for the Student Council Trip to Langkawi. (much much fun!)
6. opened my mind to critical thinking and deeper emotions in Eng.
7. new found interest in the OXFORD DICTIONARY!
8. experience-boys.(need i say more?)
9. said goodbye to Zai ( funniest most sweetest guy i've met =) miss u much!)
10.spent time with abandoned and incapable children.
11. became Sunway's One Top Model (pffffft =P )
12. spent lotsa time with family!
13. had great bunch of lecturers. (new found appreciation for the gay community *winks* )
14. not so excellent results. but got accepted in Taylor's School of Communication =D
15. Gonna be doing the course i love, Bachelor of Communication & Media Management.

Here Comes The Bride =)

In this day in history..
EMMANUEL DHOSS proposed to ASHVINI SHEKHAR!!

i must say it was the HAPPIEST days of our lives! to hear that my sister, my darlingest and most dearest sister was going to be wed!! when we heard the news, we all totally flipped out! (in a good way, of course)

Mr Dhoss was apparently holding the ring from October and never could find the right time to propose to Ms Shekhar. They were always interrupted in some way or the other. he finally decided to kneel down on his knees and officially ask her. this happened in my sister's apartment in JB.

my dear brother was so overwhelmed by this news that he decided to start having "fun" with drinks from 12pm onwards! he kept calling me in between, singing his lungs out and laughing so hard while saying " I LOVE U ADIK!" and " ITS TIME TO PARTY! ADA KAHWIN DALAM KELUARGA!" hahahahaha! HILLARIOUS i tell u! i've never heard him THAT drunk in my life. he messages me this morning saying that he's going through the worst hangover in his life!!

To Mr Emmanuel Dhoss and Ms Ashvini Shekhar, i wish u ALL the happiness for u both and may good things come your way! I love you two very much! *hugsandslobberykisses*

I'm not perfect, I'm trying my best

Results are out. i must say that i was expecting more than what i got. it broke my heart to millions of pieces. but, there's no point crying over spilt milk. i guess the part i hate the most is the talks of family members. the hurtful words that they say, "you wasted ur mother's money", "you're a disappointment" and etc. it hurt alot. hurt deep. i must admit, i disliked the subjects i did this year. applics and econs isnt my most loved subjects. but i tried. and shouldnt that count? it was my mistake, i blame no one for it.

Now i know, that next year i'll be doing the course that i love. I'm applying to the Taylor's School of Communication doing the Bachelor of Arts(Communication & Media Management). the subjects that are being taught seems interesting! such as, Media Literacies, Document Design & Publication, Advertising, and so forth. If i get good results in the first year in Taylor's (which I am going to prove to everyone, that i will get good results) then i'll be doing subjects like, Introduction to Broadcasting, Photography in UQ. i believe that i will be able to do it, and i WILL do it.

spend a couple of nights crying. thinking of what everyone was saying about me. i was browsing through the songs in my Ipod and i stumbled upon this song. i never really cared much earlier of what each word in the song meant until i really listened to it. "HE STILL LOVES ME" by Beyonce.

The Eighteenth :)

I'm finally 18! haha. i must say that it was the best b'day i've had. i've never had a surprise before and this was truly the sweetest thing i have ever gotten. the night started off by my mom and aunt and grandparents holding a cake and a bottle of champagne in the master bedroom. we blew out the candles and opened the presents and drank =) after which i went to sleep at 3am. woke up at 10am and followed my mom to do errands and came home by 12pm. we went to The Curve and ate and Little Penang Cafe. the food was YUMMY! =P i had my crunchy rubbies!! its really called waterchesnuts but i like calling it crunchy rubbies! haha. we looked around then came back home. at 7pm i was to meet up with Amrits, Fel and Wawa. we ate at Itallianies. it was intimate and sweet. we sat and talked for two hours straight! (thank you so much ladies for the present! it was lovely!) we came home by 10pm and hit the sack. the next day i was suppose to go to college to help out for the open day with Shobz. i get a call from Mr Heera asking to come earlier to help him sort out his forms. followed him around, got it all sorted then followed him, izzah and his cousin for lunch. berborak-borak until shobini called me to come get her at the foyer. left them with goodbyes. Shobz and I started our "work". i must say it was rather fun! haha. talking to the parents and their children! haha. then shobz and i went to change once our shift was done. Shobz made me change into her baju cuz her tattoo could be seen and she changed into mine. haha. anyways, then we went to Pyramid. walked and walked around. went to the movies and it was PACKED! ooft, so we decided to walk somewhere. we were to meet up with shaly wally and6.30pm! when she came, we walked around and finally decided to go makan at Fridays. so we walked and walked upstairs. and we go to like the back portion of the place and suddenly i see Annie, Mimz, Kubz, Taty, MJ, Veneon! i was like "OMG! what are u guys doing here?" haha! SHOCKED i tell you! haha. it was SO good meeting them. Rueben came later. we sat down and talked and laughed and it was fun! then the Fridays guys came. oh boy... that was the MOST embarrasing part of the evening! i swear! they made me pick somebody to do the "Fruity Dance". trust me u DONT WANNA do the fruity dance! i picked Annie and yeah... we made a COMPLETE fool of ourselves! haha. i must say it was fun but it was WHACKED! haha. the night ended early for me as my mommy came by 1h.

i want to THANK everybody who came yesterday and to everyone who wished me. it was the most Fun i ever have had for my b'day! THANK YOU SO MUCH SHOBINI , SHALINI and ANIRWAN for the whole thing! it was VERY SWEET of you guys! i LOVED it all! *hugsandkisses*

cant wait to live the life of an 18 year old! haha :) thanks alot you guys. FOR EVERYTHING.

and i thought the worse was over. damn, was i wrong.

yesterday was such a happy day. it made me realise that i shouldnt be depressed over issues as mentioned before. life's too short to be upset or angry all the time. of course, everyone has their ups and dows, but..thats life.

morning

some bunch of idiots threw firecrackers inside my house. yes, FIRECRACKERS. not once, not twice but 3 TIMES! near my dog, Bubba and near the Cars! we called the police.

afternoon

aunt decided to wash the car. brought it to the automatic car wash. no one was there to help tell us how much space was needed in between the pillars. no one was there to help. my aunt drove in. the car got pushed to the side of the automatic wash thingy's. and then, it got stuck! the car was stuck. i couldnt get out at all. the car couldnt move. we were stuck in there for 30mins! the guy who works there, got us out. we told us that the car got stuck to some kind of bolt. we were so freaked. eventually, things worked out and we were fine. as u can see, the car wasnt badly damaged. it was fine. we were fine. just shaken up.

depression kills?

i wouldnt go to the extent in saying that i'm depressed to the point of killing myself. thats just plain ridiculous. STUPID in fact. but i must say that i'm not entirely happy either. maybe its after an overflow of everything i've been feeling these past few weeks. maybe now its hitting me harder than it used to be. MAYBE. all i know, is that im not myself. not at all. today, from 8am till 1pm i was in my bed. awake, but just to reluctant to get out. i loved the morning. it was cold, wet and just perfect. it was impossible for me to get out. i soaked myself in finishing Eclipse. i did. normally, i'll get out and see everyone in the morning. however, this morning, i just wanted to be by myself. my mom tried really hard to ask me to get out of bed. everntually, i gave in. we went for lunch and now home and going out later. i know that all i need is time. time, to get over this feeling.
